Description
This presentation will review the 2018 AHA/ACC Lipid Guidelines for both primary and secondary prevention.
Learning Objectives:
- Compare the 2018 lipid guidelines to the 2018 National Lipid Association recommendations for lipid management and the 2017 ACE/AACE Lipid Guidelines.
- Understand the new biomarker algorithm for risk of Acute Coronary Syndrome and its use in clinical practice.
The Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
