KEN WILBER
Integral Spirituality: Embracing the Three Faces of God
In this dialogue with the leading voice of the global integral revolution, we’ll explore one of the most vital questions facing all of us who aspire to live an authentic spiritual life: How can we ensure that our spiritual path and practice will lead to a truly integral transformation? According to Wilber, to bring about a complete spiritual awakening, we must embrace what he calls “the three faces of God.” Wilber points outs out that God or Spirit can be experienced and engaged from three distinct perspectives: 1st person, 2nd person, and 3rd person. God as Self; God as Holy Other; and God as Everything. Yet, it is all too easy for us to become lost in one of these “faces of God” at the expense of the others. For instance, many of us have had powerful first-person “enlightenment experiences” that revealed to us the divine nature of our Self. But in the absence of the always humbling recognition of the second-person face of God—God as Other, our first-person spiritual experiences have often made us more egocentric—not less so. Join us for a dynamic exploration of the path of Integral Spirituality, in which all three faces of God come together to transform every aspect of our life.
About Ken Wilber
Ken Wilber is the most widely translated academic writer in America, with 25 books translated into some 30 foreign languages, and is the first philosopher-psychologist to have his Collected Works published while still alive. Wilber is an internationally acknowledged leader and the preeminent scholar of the Integral stage of human development, which continues to gather momentum around the world. His many books, all of which are still in print, include Integral Spirituality; No Boundary; Grace and Grit; Sex, Ecology, Spirituality; and the “everything” books: A Brief History of Everything (one of his largest selling books) and A Theory of Everything (probably the shortest introduction to his work). Ken Wilber is the founder of Integral Institute, Inc., the co-founder of Integral Life, Inc., and the Senior Fellow of Integral Life Spiritual Center.
ANDREW COHEN
Evolutionary Enlightenment: Transformative Spirituality for the 21st Century
How does profound development at the level of consciousness directly relate to genuine transformation at a cultural level? How has enlightenment evolved along with everything else? Andrew Cohen is a spiritual and cultural pioneer who has been charting the terrain of the “new enlightenment” for over two decades. In this teleseminar, through his engaged approach to spiritual inquiry, Cohen will illuminate how our very understanding of nondual awakening evolves over time as we do, and how its significance takes on new dimensions and import as the conditions of our world become ever more complex. Originator of Evolutionary Enlightenment, a contemporary spiritual and philosophical teaching, Cohen has mapped a comprehensive framework for the development of our higher human potentials. Central to this teaching is our awakening to an understanding and experiential recognition of the evolutionary impulse as the animating life-force within us. By becoming ever more conscious of this force, and aligning ourselves to it, we can become powerful instruments for human transformation, starting at the most fundamental level—the level of consciousness itself.
About Andrew Cohen
Andrew Cohen is an internationally recognized spiritual teacher, evolutionary philosopher and author. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of award-winning EnlightenNext magazine. A visionary thinker and revolutionary idealist, Cohen is widely recognized for his original contribution to the emerging field of evolutionary spirituality and for his original spiritual teaching, Evolutionary Enlightenment. Through his talks, intensive retreats, publications, and ongoing dialogues with leading philosophers, mystics, and activists, Cohen has becoming a leading voice in an international alliance of individuals and organizations that are committed to the transformation of human consciousness and culture. Cohen is the author of Living Enlightenment: A Call for Evolution Beyond Ego, Embracing Heaven and Earth and Enlightenment Is a Secret. His forthcoming book, Evolutionary Enlightenment, is due for release in the spring of 2010.
DIANE HAMILTON
Facing the Shadow: An Integral Approach to the Dark Side
The Integral Map points us towards expanding spiritual realization, but cautions us to learn to work with Shadow elements of consciousness before they work with us. You may be able to access expanded states of awareness, but still get hung up when addressing personal or interpersonal matters. One of the goals of integral practice is to address this discrepancy between the personal and the transpersonal work, and to give people the tools they need to address the aspect of the self that needs to be worked with.
In this dialogue we will focus on the element of Shadow work in Integral practice, including the Integral tool of 3-2-1 Shadow work and integrating projections. We will also differentiate between shadow material, negative emotional patterns, and expression of trauma. We will further explore the challenge of navigating shadow in relationships and the collective realm, so that our spiritual awareness can be fully manifested in everyday life.

SALLY KEMPTON
The Continuous Awakening: Sustaining an Authentic Practice in a Chaotic World
In this teleseminar, we’ll look at some of the main issues that show up for students practicing an integral spiritual journey in a post-traditional context. The traditions offered systems for inducing depth in practice: models for student-teacher relationships, stage-maps for where you were on your path, protocols for dissolving the tendrils of ego. At the same time, a student in a traditional journey often found that as she awakened to her own personal journey, the traditional maps no longer applied. Integral spirituality must find authentic ways to help students navigate the tricky curves of their own awakenings.
Join us as we explore issues such as: How do we translate intellectual knowing into actual all-bodies experience? How do we recognize the difference between self-reliance and egoic arrogance? How does one deal with the unexpected emotional and psychic upheavals that come with purification? Sustaining an authentic practice isn’t just about what you do. It’s also about how you field the curve balls that come at you in the course any spiritual journey–especially ones where you’re breaking new ground!
About Sally Kempton
One evening in 1971, while sitting in her Manhattan living room, Sally Kempton was overcome by a feeling of all-encompassing, unconditional love that seemed to come out of nowhere. The dramatic experience initiated an inner search that led her, two years later, to encounter her Guru, Swami Muktananda. Today, Sally Durgananda Kempton is a teacher of inner yoga, trained in the non-dual traditions of Hindu wisdom. Her classes and trainings offer a deep transmission of heart-based spaciousness. She is known for her ability to convey esoteric tantric teachings with an acute sense of the psychological and practical challenges of contemporary life. She is the author of The Heart of Meditation, and writes the popular Wisdom column for Yoga Journal.
DON BECK
Agents of Evolution: Applying our Deepest Wisdom to the Transformation of the World
Change happens. And in the first decade of the third millennium, global changes are happening in chaotic fashion: quickly in some areas and hardly at all in others. Adding to the challenge is the fact that most change still happens according to the raw, rowdy rules of our stone-age ancestry—dominated by instinctual but dangerously volatile, primitive ideas and beliefs.
For many of us today, however, a spiritually rooted desire for wise, integral change is emerging. But in order to transform the world, we must begin to understand how transformation occurs—and be willing to transform ourselves. In this teleseminar, join pioneering integral thinker Dr. Don Beck for an in depth look at Spiral Dynamics Integral. Learn about the dynamics of human development from a vertical, developmental, integral framework. Dramatically uplevel your understanding of how human consciousness develops across clans, cultures and countries, on the inner and the outer, personally and collectively. If the most crucial step toward the creation of a new and truly integral culture is enlightening one’s innermost culture, then this teleseminar is sure to be a powerful step toward a better future.
About Dr. Don Beck
Don Beck has been developing, implementing, and teaching the evolutionary theory of Spiral Dynamics for more than three decades. Based on the pioneering work of psychologist Claire Graves, Spiral Dynamics is a powerful multidimensional model for understanding the evolutionary transformation of human values and cultures. Dr. Beck’s career has taken him to such diverse settings as 10 Downing Street, inner city schools on the south side of Chicago, the headquarters of the World Bank, and the boardrooms of major banks, energy companies, airlines, and government agencies around the world. Between 1981 and 1988, his work in South Africa had a significant impact on the public, political, business and religious leadership, helping to bring about the peaceful transition from apartheid to democracy. He is cofounder and CEO of the Spiral Dynamics Group, Inc., and the author (with Chris Cowan) of the definitive text, Spiral Dynamics: Mastering Values, Leadership & Change
GENPO ROSHI
The Future of Buddhism: Big Mind, Big Heart and the Evolution of the Dharma
Genpo Roshi is changing the face of Zen—now and for the future. He is part traditional Zen Master and part modern spiritual innovator and his original teaching method, Big Mind, Big Heart, enables even the novice student to have a direct and potentially life changing experience of their own true nature. In this teleseminar, Genpo Roshi will share with us the essence of Big Mind, Big Heart and will speak about why it is vital that we find new ways of understanding, teaching and practicing the timeless spiritual paths of the East. Experience for yourself how his unique combination of tools and methods successfully weds Western psychology and science with the ancient wisdom traditions.
About Genpo Roshi
Dennis Genpo Merzel Roshi (born 1944) founded the Kanzeon International Sangha in 1982. He has been Abbot of Big Mind Western Zen Center, (formerly known as Kanzeon Zen Center) in Salt Lake City, Utah, since 1987. His latest book, Big Mind/Big Heart: Finding Your Way, was published in the Fall of 2007.
MARC GAFNI
A Spirituality of Uniqueness: Daring to Question the Dogma of Oneness
We usually think of enlightenment as a movement away from the limited sense of self, the egoic or the personal and towards a liberated, impersonal or universal sense of self; a move beyond our sense of Uniqueness, beyond the merely Personal. In this teleseminar, integral–evolutionary spiritual teacher Dr. Rabbi Marc Gafni will present his latest conception in which the ultimate expression of spiritual attainment is understood as the realization of what he, together with Ken Wilber and others have called the “Unique Self.” According to Gafni, this powerful emergent realization, rooted in the Kabbalah and other wisdom traditions, distinguishes between egoic specialness or uniqueness and that experience of radical enlightened uniqueness, which emerges only after evolution beyond the contractions of ego and separate self. “Egoic uniqueness needs to be overcome, whereas enlightened uniqueness is to be embraced and fully lived.” Gafni will explain why he feels that Unique Self is the most powerful and complete expression of enlightenment, love, Eros and joy, and why it will fundamentally challenge—and evolve—our entire understanding of life purpose, enlightenment and just about everything else.
About Dr. Marc Gafni
Dr. Marc Gafni is a rabbi and iconlastic teacher of Kabbalah and Evolutionary Spirituality. He is a core founder and faculty member of iEvolve Global Practice Community as well as director of the Integral Life Spiritual Center of Integral Life. He has written seven books, including the national bestseller Soul Prints, and The Mystery of Love, a Kabbalistic exploration of the relationship between the sexual, the erotic, and the sacred. Gafni’s teaching is marked by a deep transmission of open heart, love and leading edge provocative wisdom. Gafni’s path of personal evolution, in both the agony and the ecstasy of what he calls “sacred autobiography,” woven together with profound reverence and reading of sacred texts have formed the context for his personal realization. It is from this place of broken-hearted humility, radical joy and and sacred audacity that he teaches.

MICHAEL MURPHY
Integral Tranformative Practice and the Evolution of the Whole Person
Human transformation is a complex and multi-faceted endeavor. In our quest for the realization of our full human capacities, it’s all too easy to become overly focused on the development of one aspect of ourselves at the expense of our higher development in another. For instance, many of us have discovered that, after years of meditation practice, we have become very good meditators, but remain dysfunctional in our relationships or challenged in our ability to accomplish our goals in the world. A burning question facing all of us today is: “How can we bring about an “integral” transformation–one that ensures that we develop all of our human capacities in a balanced and holistic way?” In this teleseminar with evolutionary pioneer Michael Murphy, we’ll dive headlong into this question.
We’ll look at what it means to evolve toward our full potential, and explore the power of Integral Transformative Practice, the groundbreaking approach to transformation Murphy developed along with George Leonard. We hope you’ll join us for this exciting kick-off of our series.
About Michael Murphy
Michael Murphy is the chairman of Esalen Institute, which he confounded with Richard Price in 1962. He is also known for helping to spark, along with George Leonard, what has come to be known as the human potential movement. After graduating from Stanford University in the mid-1950’s, he studied at Sri Aurobindo Ashram in South India, where he developed the spiritual and philosophical foundations that led to the founding of Esalen. Murphy is author of many nonfiction books that explore evidence for extraordinary human capacities, including The Future of the Body, The Life We Are Given (with George Leonard) and The Physical and Psychological Effects of Meditation (with Steven Donovan). He has also written four novels: Golf in the Kingdom, The Kingdom of Shivas Irons, Jacob Atabet, and An End to Ordinary History.
STEVE MCINTOSH
Evolutionary Spirituality and the Integral Worldview
In the last forty years, progressive spirituality has made a good deal of social progress. Progressive spiritual teachers such as Eckhart Tolle are now becoming accessible to a large mainstream audience through such popular cultural venues as the Oprah Winfrey show. This postmodern form of spirituality has also made inroads into the highest reaches of human knowledge in the way it has helped to harmonize the world’s wisdom traditions with the discoveries of science. However, despite its successes, progressive spirituality remains largely counter-cultural. It has not, as yet, produced the great awakening—the momentous Shift—that it has held out as its most enticing promise. Integral spirituality grows out of progressive spirituality, yet it claims to be distinct—a new form of spirituality that can be distinguished from New Age perspectives.
In this segment, Steve McIntosh will discuss the elements of integral spirituality that distinguish it from even the best of progressive spirituality. He will highlight the aspects of the integral approach that transcend the current state of progressive spirituality, while also including it within an inspiring new synthesis.
About Steve Mcintosh
Steve McIntosh is the author of Integral Consciousness and the Future of Evolution (Paragon House 2007). He is an original member of the Integral Institute think tank, and has taught integral philosophy to a wide variety of audiences. In 2008 he was invited to join the Evolutionary Leaders group spearheaded by Deepak Chopra. He is also the CEO of Now & Zen, Inc., an international manufacturing company marketing “natural lifestyle products”, including his famous Zen Alarm Clock. Steve is a long-time participant in progressive culture, and has traveled extensively throughout the world. He has had a variety of successful careers including practicing law with one of the nation’s biggest firms and working as an executive with Celestial Seasonings tea company. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and two sons.
CARTER PHIPPS
Evolution Changes Everything: How the Discovery of Progress is Transforming the Spiritual Path
Once upon a time, there was only birth, life, and death. Then God created Darwin, whose theory of evolution transformed a static wheel of existence into a great arc of change, with man, beast, biosphere and even suns and solar systems caught up in the currents of an evolutionary universe. This still radical revelation poses a fundamental challenge to some of our most cherished spiritual beliefs, and is changing culture and consciousness in ways that we have only begun to understand. In this teleseminar, Carter Phipps will discuss the notion of progress and development, evolution and change, as they relate to the spiritual life. Challenging traditional concepts of enlightenment and the nature of the self, Carter will speak about how evolution suggests an entirely new context for human life, redefining the basic goals of spiritual practice and revealing our ultimate potential for transforming ourselves and our world.
About Carter Phipps
Carter Phipps is the Executive Editor of EnlightenNext magazine. His areas of expertise range from metaphysics to politics to science and technology. Carter was a featured speaker at Deepak Chopra’s Evolutionary Leaders Forum, the invitation-only Assembly of Leaders prior to the 2004 Parliament of the World’s Religions, the 2008 Edinburgh Festival of Spirituality and Peace, and at educational institutions including Brown University, JFK University, and the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology. He has appeared on BBC Radio’s Reporting Religion and on New Dimensions radio, and is a regular guest on Deepak Chopra’s Wellness Radio on Sirius. He will also appear in The Shift, a soon-to-be-released documentary featuring spiritual leaders and activists including the Dalai Lama, Al Gore, and Desmond Tutu. His first book, Evolutionaries: A Manifesto for the Emerging Evolutionary Spirituality, will be published by Harper Perennial in spring 2011. Carter has a degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma. He has been a student of Andrew Cohen and Evolutionary Enlightenment since 1991.

CLAIRE ZAMMIT
Women on the Edge of Evolution: The Sacred Task of Midwifing the Integral Feminine
There’s an impulse being felt by millions of people around the world: the yearning to reclaim the feminine. From ancient prophecies to modern day manifestos, the 21st century is heralded as the time when the integration of both masculine and feminine energies, values, and ways of knowing and being will constellate and give birth to the next stage of our collective human journey. But how will this integration take place? And what’s the significance of our role as women in this process?
According to Claire Zammit, in order for this reintegration of the feminine to catalyze our next evolutionary stage of development, it must be consciously evolved and expressed through women at the integral level of consciousness. This “new feminine” is unlike anything we’ve seen in our history. Women who are living on the edge of evolution, that is, those of us who have the privilege of being freed up from the task of merely surviving and are able to participate in the process of pioneering new structures in consciousness, have a sacred calling to lead the way.
Join Claire Zammit, who has been pioneering a pathway for women’s evolution in her work with thousands of women, to learn how to awaken the integral feminine in yourself and midwife it into our world.

CRAIG HAMILTON
Awakening to the Call of the Cosmos: How to Align Your Life with the Impulse of Evolution
Many of us sense that an extraordinary spiritual transformation is possible—a radical realignment at the deepest levels of our being that would not only liberate us from our personal suffering but would infuse our lives with a sacred, cosmic sense of meaning, purpose and wholeness. Yet, after years of spiritual practice and study, for most of us, this kind of total transformation remains mysteriously out of reach.
Why is it that most spiritual teachings and practices rarely deliver on the promise of authentic spiritual awakening? According to spiritual pioneer Craig Hamilton, the reason for this is that the vast majority of spiritual practices and teachings today are rooted in a worldview that is hundreds if not thousands of years out of date and are inadequate to address the evolutionary needs of modern humanity. Hamilton writes: “most spiritual seekers today have psychological and emotional barriers to transformation that all the meditation and prayer in the world will not remove.”
In this groundbreaking interactive teleseminar, we’ll explore the evolutionary approach to spiritual practice Hamilton calls “Integral Enlightenment” You’ll discover how to reignite your spiritual passion by aligning your life with the evolutionary impulse at the heart of the cosmos. And you’ll learn simple practices to help you remove your hidden barriers to enlightenment and open the door to an unimaginable life of sacred engagement in the great work of our time—the further evolution of life, humanity, and consciousness itself.
