This video demonstrates the use of Attachment-Focused EMDR to heal a past relationship trauma that was causing the client distress in the present. The client was a man who was triggered by a recent situation that activated a strong emotional response. He reported that several years previously he had been emotionally harmed by the actions of a therapist. He wanted to be free from the threat of being triggered in future situations.
You will learn the EMDR techniques Laurel Parnell uses in order to find the target and help the client to feel grounded and at peace.

A frequent presenter at conferences, she has been interviewed for television, radio and print. She maintains a private practice in San Rafael, California.
