Description
This presentation will review the criteria used to identify symptoms of depression and anxiety disorders in the child adolescent population. Evidence-based practices of treatment for anxiety and depression will be discussed as well as when to refer to a child psychiatrist.

2. Describe presentation of dep/anxiety symptoms in children
3. Discuss evidence based practices of treatment for anxiety and depression in adolescent population

Dr. Ranelle Bracy-Lewis received her medical education from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa. Upon graduation, she began training at the University of Oklahoma College of Community Medicine in the General Psychiatry Program and later completed her Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training at The University of Oklahoma College of Community Medicine. She currently practices at an inpatient mental health hospital for children and adolescents in rural Northeast Oklahoma.
